2009-04-01 It is with a very sad heart that I wish to inform you of the death of Colleen's beloved father, Robert Allen McGregor Sr. "Bob", on March 31, 2009.  Our deepest sympathies go out to Colleen, Peter, Sarah Shea and the rest of their family at this most difficult time.  You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

A message from Nick (Susan and Tony’s son) - The Eagle Scout project I plan to do is to replace the church bell stand at the United Methodist Church in East Northport.  Currently the unstable wooden frame and base may cause the existing bell to fall, break, and possibly injury someone.  I plan to honor and preserve the bell’s historic character by constructing a new frame.  To help fund my project I am planning a car wash on April 25th (rain date April 26th), 9AM - 3PM,  at Pep Boys, 6350 Jericho Turnpike, Commack.  For additional details please click here to see my flyer.

2009-03-02 Congratulations to Jon Lyons on the purchase of his new home.  A few words from his very proud parents,  "The Jon Lyons Estate - We are the proud parents of a new (and pretty broke, but welcome to the real world) home owner!  The heavenly abode is located at, 89 Baltimore Ave., Narragansett, RI - It is just off of Ocean Road, between the Christian Brother's Monastery where we had one of our earlier family reunions and the Narragansett Parks & Rec.  At the end of his street is Blackpoint Hiking Trail which runs along the ocean and would be a great place to visit during the family reunion, or whenever you are visiting RI.  With a little bit of paint and few minor alterations, it may be displayed in one of the upcoming issues of Coastal Living . . . . ."  (view photos)

2008-10-08 Our Hawaiian/California Vacation - September 24 to October 8, 2008 - Thea and I celebrated our 35th Wedding Anniversary, Thea's 55th Birthday and her well deserved retirement with a wonderful trip to California and Hawaii.  It was our third attempt at such a trip and I think we both agree, it was well worth the wait!  We took many photos to help us remember this wonderful experience.  (See Photo Gallery for photo links)

Congratulations to Ara and Sean on the birth of their son, Gauge Raynen.  Truly a gift from God! (See new photos!)  Gauge was born May 4, 2007 and was 8lbs. 4oz. and 20 in. long
Family update - Tyler is 8 years old and is going into 3rd grade. He lives with us every other week. He was having a rough time for a while but is better now.  He is so proud to be a big brother and helps out so much with Gauge.
Sean and I are doing great. Sean is still driving and delivering furniture for Rooms to Go. I'm still on maternity leave, but still employed with the Sheriff's Office.

A very Happy 85th Birthday to Mom N!  Mom's family helped her celebrate this joyous occasion on April 21st in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Clare Connor, daughter of our good friends Norma and Mike Connor, has recently retired as Captain of the English Women's Cricket Team.  One of the highlights of her career was England's victory over Australia in the 2005 Women's Ashes series (see celebration photos).  Clare was also awarded the prestigious Order of the British Empire" (OBE) from Britain's Queen Elizabeth II during a ceremony in London's Buckingham Palace on Thursday Feb 9, 2006

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Ryan will be attending the United States Coast Guard Academy  as member of the class of 2006.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Ryan has received a full appointment to the United States Coast Guard Academy.  Needless to say, his family is very proud of him.  In addition, he has been accepted by Fordham University, American University, SUNY Binghamton, and SUNY Geneseo.

Erin is currently seeking a coaching position for the Fall 2002.  She plans on beginning her Master's Program at that time.

It is with a very sad heart that I wish to inform you of the death of our beloved father, Peter J. Norton, on January 31, 2002.

Congratulations to Erin and her teammates as the Marist Women's Soccer team captured its first-ever Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) regular season crown, with an 8-1 record.  The Red Foxes finished 2nd in the MAAC Championship Tournament held at the Walt Disney World Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida.

Congratulations to Erin for being selected to the All-MAAC Second Team for the fourth time in her career.  Erin also holds the Marist women's Soccer record for career starts with 76 and the record for most games played in with 76.

Ryan will be 1st chair tenor sax in the Northport High School Concert band.
